PURPOSE STATEMENT
The key objectives of the ISEA include:
- To act as an industrial organisation of employees.
- To improve and protect the interests of its members in industrial matters.
- To obtain and maintain reasonable hours of work and fair rates of remuneration and
conditions of employment.
- To raise funds by means of subscriptions, levies and/or other appropriate means.
- To assist in the settlement of any difference which may. arise between members and
their employers.
- To help and protect members in any legal proceedings that may arise out of the approved
exercise of their duties.
- To promote the professional interests of members.
- To present a collective view of senior educational administrators in NSW on important
educational issues and directions.
- To ensure effective two-
way communication networks exist in the structure of the Institute.
- To promote the professional image and status of senior educational administrators.
- To establish collegial and social networks amongst its members.
