PURPOSE STATEMENT
The key objectives of the
ISEA include:
-
To act
as an industrial organisation of employees,

To
improve and protect the interests of its members in industrial matters,

To
obtain and maintain reasonable hours of work and fair rates of
remuneration and conditions of employment, . .

To raise
funds by means of subscriptions, levies and/or other appropriate means,
-
To
assist in the settlement of any difference which may. arise between
members and their employers,
-
To help
and protect members in any legal proceedings that may arise out of
the approved exercise of their duties,
-
To
promote the professional interests of members,
-
To
present a collective view of senior educational administrators in NSW on
important educational issues and directions,

To
ensure effective two‑way communication networks exist in the structure
of the Institute,

To
promote the professional image and status of senior educational
administrators,
-
To
establish collegial and social networks amongst its members.
